Operations associate

Hey guys,

There's this job position that my friend told me about. It is a position for operation associate in a tech company. Basically this company automates their business process and does web development, apps and stuff like that . I'm not sure what a role of an operations associate would be here. This job isn't posted online so I'm not sure.
