Nobody’s calling me back

So I’ve been out of work now almost 6 months. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, and I’m trying to get into the Data Analyst field. I only got one interview so far because of a reference but they didn’t take me. Most the time nobody calls me about my applications at all. How can i make myself more hire-able? I really need to make money soon.
