I had an interview this morning which aside from the following events went very well. However I was 2 minutes late because of a terrible accident that backed up the freeway, but they were very understanding about it.
I realized upon driving home that I didn't get business cards from them and they were not included in my interview email from the recruiter. I need to send a thank you, especially with how understanding they were and for still taking the time to see me. I emailed the recruiter explaining and asked if she could pass their email along so I could thank her for meeting with me. The entire day passed and no email back. Should I call the office directly tomorrow? Or is that overkill? Maybe they don't want me to have their direct emails?
Other interviews I've gone to I already had their email or they gave me their cards without me asking, so I didn't even think about it. Feeling very dumb and like I've now hurt my chances for a great opportunity.
