Does my company expect to stay for so long?

So I've been at my first job for about 3 months now and I hoping they don't want me to stay for years to come. It's my first job out of college and I took it because it was the first job offer I had and it was a good way to put my foot in the door since I didn't have any experience. It's a small company (>100) with basically old people and in a rural area. Anyway, I don't hate the job but I don't love it either. I just tolerate it. I'm just working to gain experience and move on. But, one of the managers was talking to me and basically telling me that I will one day take over a position another coworker (who is old) has had for over 20 years since they will retire in like 5 years. And they is basically what part of my job responsibility is to learn as much as I can from my coworker to eventually take it over. But I don't plan to stay for over 2 years because 1) I want to move to the city and I don't like the rural location 2) I want to work with people around my age 3) I have different ambitions

Do you actually expect me to stay my entire life there? I'm just confused cause they will be surprised when I move on and who will take over my coworker's position? They actually have a backup plan right?
