This is the first time I am working on contract (W2) My pay rate is $50/hr
So, for WEEK_1 the system did not let me submit my hours.
For WEEK_2 and WEEK_3 (80 hours total), I received a payroll of $4000 which after tax deductions came out to be $3426.6
As for WEEK_1, my employer told me to submit double hours in the coming week (80 instead of usual 40) to compensate. After all my hours were approved, my combined paycheck for WEEK_4 (80 hrs), WEEK_5 (40 hrs), WEEK_6 (40 hrs) of $8000 after tax deductions came out to be $6384
Now, I was expecting a paycheck of $3426.6 * 2 = $6853The difference is $469 from what I expected.
I already emailed my employer about this. But if anyone can explain this I would be really grateful?
