Advice for an in person interview - On the spectrum

I have been unemployed for a year but am finally getting some callbacks from applications. I have an interview coming up for an entry level IT position. I have an IT related BS degree and a lot of customer service experience. One of the hardest parts will be self confidence and preventing imposter syndrome.

I'm on the spectrum which makes in person interviews challenging. The two options I have are to disclose but this is pretty risky so loved ones advise me not to. For the most part, I can go through the memorized/rehearsed social norms. In the past, I have gotten feedback after an interview/rejection that they do not want me to break eye contact (at all) during an interview because it looks sketchy. I know to sit up, try to act confident, speak clearly, and try to smile.

Does anyone have any advice on how to succeed (at least at the interview). It may be overkill but I was going to dress business formal. I set my desired salary below market value I think and that may have been one of the reasons I was called. I am willing to go the route of delayed gratification. I'll be asked about my employment gap (job searching, studying for certain coursework).

How can I make a good impression, succeed at the interview and tell if it's a good fit. TBH sometimes it feels like I should have a small icon on my ID badge that tells people discreetly I'm autistic so if I say something that's a faux paus not to take it personally (and let me know if it was offensive) to prevent misunderstandings.

I left a toxic environment where there was very little training, boss was out of office 80% of the time, tons of gossip and it was a 'throw you under the bus' atmosphere. It didn't work out - wasn't a good skills fit. How can I prevent this from happening again?
