1 week after starting my new job and I already miss my old job and wish I didn't quit my old job.

This new job found me and offered a 31% pay bump from my old job. However, I really miss my old boss and coworkers...they were amazing. Unfortunately, they just filled my old job already. This new job has a lot of professional development and the skies the limit but everyone is so boring and clinical and by the book. I hate myself right now and I am so depressed. I also recognize that coworkers and the the company are not my "friends", but dear God. Would it kill to crack a joke here and there, or be friendly? They're type As, but in a bad way though. I don't know if I should give it time and just get my certificates while I can and start looking after 6 months? Or should I jump ship ASAP?

Nationally, the company is good- but I am working for the state group and they keep laying off people for restructuring and they are bleeding out millions. So I'm also paranoid about being laid off in spite of just being hired.

I also don't know if I'm the problem. If I'm not- maybe I should jump ship and leave this off my resume? Or would you stay and give it time to learn everything and to figure out the new manager and coworkers?
