Over the years, I've been approached by recruiters a number of times, and I often find that the positions they initially send me are either for someone much more experienced in my field or for a field I have zero experience with/knowledge of. Is it just bait? Why do recruiters do this? It's so frustrating that it makes me not want to work or be in contact with the recruiter who contacted me in the first place.
