What is the appropriate procedure for sending "thank you" emails after an interview with 6 different people 30 minutes each?
I had a first and final in-person interview today that was 3 hours long, meeting with 6 different people for 30 minutes each. I met with the hiring manager (my potential boss) first, then their boss, then various other people on the team.
I am wondering what the appropriate procedure is for sending a standard "thank your for your time" email followup is?
Frankly, I feel like it's a little insincere to send a note to each othe 6 people, my gut is telling me just to send an email to the hiring manager and say "thanks for your time, I enjoyed meeting with you and other members of the team, I'm very interested in the position, etc." instead of sending a note to all 6 people.
Thoughts?
