I just want to say thanks to everybody here who posts their frustrations with trying to get a job, or trying to deal with nightmare situations. I have my own, and I won't get into it right now because it makes me so depressed and anxious. (tl;dr everything I care about is slipping through my fingers because I can't seem to get a job, my life is a waste and I am worthless, I was born trash and will always be trash. etc.)
When I come to this subreddit, I am reminded that I am not the only one in this situation. It helps me to be realistic, and that helps me to keep believing that if I continue to try to improve whatever I can, hope for my future might not be completely dead.
Without this subreddit, I would have slipped into a very dark place by now. Trying to get a decent job can be a nauseating process for applicants. Employers do pretty much whatever they want. Thanks, ya'll for helping me to perservere. I hope things work out for all of us.
