I’ve been actively applying after my contract ended and I’ve realized just how important it is to do your research and take your time. What good is it to apply to a bunch of places, that aren’t great or that you aren’t a good fit for? Also, spending an hour or two on 10+ applications just to get some faulty responses from HR reps or worse scammers just seems like a waste when you can spend time impressing folks that really matter.
