Had to leave new job middle of the day to address an urgent medical issue. How do I disclose this to my HR/Manager to lower my chances of getting fired?
See title I guess.
A co-worker - who I work very closely with - knows this, but not why (i.e. the details of my medical issue).
New job and there's already been a concern raised with my low productivity (because of this issue).
I guess there's a good chance I'll get fired, but how do I keep my head up and minimize my losses? Especially if I have to request time off?
I wish this wasn't happening.
