Some recruiter contacted me regarding the contract position the IT Security analyst in one of the top banks in US. I was like ok.
Then she told me that they liked my resume and would like to proceed for a phone interview. I had to call the interviewer (which was weird). The interviewer is a Senior VP in the bank.(A legit person, checked his LInkedIN, he does work there) I spoke to him he said he was impressed with my resume.
Next day i receive an email from the recruiter who said that they would like to proceed and want Face To Face interview.I arrived to headquarters spoke to Another VP and everything went smooth, that was on friday. Now i receive an email from my recruiter who says that they want to hire me, I was happy but still a little bit suspicious, regarding the recruiter, she is not the bank employee.Apparently she is the owner of an emp agency,
So i googled her, thats where the fun begins. I see that the recruiter was convicted for running the Ponzi Scheme in 2005 and did 10 years in jail. I also found out some reviews online that claim that recruiter didn't pay them for their services,
some had to sue her. Her partner was also a convicted felon.
So i guess my question is.. should i proceed and take this job?
I have a decent job that pay 50 k a year, and this job offered 80 k,
I mean the bank probably doesn't know her history thats why they work with her.
Any advice? Thanks
