I’m going to a job agency tomorrow (hopefully) to find what jobs are available to me, as someone who never completed college (and sadly lack the motivation and money to go back). I’m 22 years old if that helps. I lack a lot of experience and have a hard time with self confidence.. And I probably spend FAR too much time worrying about the “what-ifs” instead of going for it. But that’s just it, I’m a super anxious person. I really would prefer doing more work than socializing any day. I don’t want to go into a trade, though, and so far an office job sounds the most appealing (mostly because I HARDLY know what kind of jobs are out there), despite reading up on how shitty and monotonous they are. I guess the reason why I’m posting this rambling mess on here is because I’m lost. I need some kind of push or something. I do flip flop on the idea of selling my own art, but I hardly think I could ever make that a sustaining job. SO that can be a side business if I ever truly decide to do that. I’m also not opposed to programming. I know nothing about it, though, aside from tweaking blogs (which isn’t much, I know).
I also have no idea what things to ask when I’m at the job agency? I doubt I’ll get a good job, but perhaps I’m a bit too pessimistic.
Edit: I moved to California last month. Bay area. I hardly know how to adult, but the fact that I drove cross country might say something?
