Yesterday I interviewed for a pretty awesome position at a university. The interview was around an hour long and I met with the director and associate director. I'm not good at reading people but the conversation seems a bit on the casual side (which I really appreciate). Most of the interview was the director talking about the job, even going over job specifics and what I should expect. I seem to have impressed them a little by one of the questions I asked them. Most of all, I think I connected with them and I would very much like working with them in the future.
However, I did get fidgety a little towards the middle of the interview from limb discomfort (I usually like placing my arms on a table or just moving them around). I also stumbled a little bit when the associate director asked me a question about one of my previous jobs.
Right after the interview, the director was going to introduce me to someone else on the team but they left for break. All in all, this interview was my favorite as it gave me hope.
