There are 3 reasons you should call instead of email: 1. There's no guarantee they will ever respond. If you call while the person is available, they will have to follow up with you. 2. You don't want to be emailing back and forth trying schedule the interview if your schedules conflict. If you call, you'll have the interview scheduled then and there. 3. If you call, you don't have to worry about email etiquette.
