Getting experience for data entry?

I'm 19, a college dropout, and never had a job.

I feel like a lot of the entry level job listings I've seen want some form of experience, and I'm just not sure where or how to go about it.

I read about getting certificates from Microsoft for their software (if it's even true, I didn't look into that), is there anything else? Should I check for any classes I could attend? Are there specific jobs I could look into to be guaranteed work?
