As someone who was born and raised in the US and bilingual in English and Chinese, is it easier to get into a top bank in Asia?
If I’m going for an investment banking/equity research position at Jefferies, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Merril etc, I heard that it was much easier to get into an IB position given you can speak both languages. Is this true and can someone speak from personal or secondary experience?
Also, what’s the best way to go about getting into one?
