Weary on switching jobs

Hello!

At the moment I have a basic retail job that gets me 30 hours every other week. I'm sick of working retail and being bullied by random customers. I want to find a new job, but dont want to switch to another retail job and dont want to go through that process of applying and interviews.

I've been thinking of dwindling my hours at my current job to twice a week and doing instacart and dog walking. I live in a heavily populated area with plenty of nearby towns, and summer is coming up.

Would this be a smart move? I dont want to do anything drastic and regretting my choices. I dont make much now anyways.
