Hey guys,
So I had an interview 8 days ago at Company A through which I had a referral to (friend of mine works at said company). Interview went really well, and I received a phone call about 2 hours later from a person in HR. He stated that they would like to give me an offer and proceed with the application process. We talked about salary and compensation, and he said he would have the offer to me by the end of the week. Fast forward a week later, still not written offer. I politely emailed HR, and they quickly replied back, stating that I would most likely receive the offer today (yesterday) from a different person in HR. However, I still have not received the written offer as of today, and am getting worried.
I have a written offer from Company B as well. I must decide on this offer by this Tuesday, and I cannot get an extension as I have already requested for one before.
I really want to wait for the offer from Company A, as that is my primary choice currently. However, I don't want to miss the opportunity of accepting at Company B in the event that Company A somehow falls through. My plan, if I haven't received the written offer from Company A by Tuesday, is to call HR and firmly ask if they have the written offer ready. How do you guys think I should proceed?
