Have recently been paying to jobs and received a status update on one of my applications stating that I had "great skills but perhaps another role may fit you better". This is a bit confusing to me as my skills fit the role and the job responsibilities. And I didn't get through to even a phone interview. Is this just another way that HR/Hiring Managers reject applications? Appreciate any input on what this could mean. Thanks!
