Seeking advice for stay-at-home mom w/ minimal side gig experience, looking to enter workforce 9 years after graduation

I live in the US and my wife is looking to enter the workforce, 9 years after getting her MBA in Marketing. She has minimal post-college work experience (she has briefly done some marketing work for acquaintances) and has stayed at home to care for our kids. She has applied to jobs online for several months now (+6 months) but has had only one interview in which she did well but was offered an amount that was way too low (would not even cover the cost of the child care her work would require us getting and we cannot afford to add more expenses to our budget). Can anyone offer advice for stay-at-home moms looking to find a job without experience and long after graduating? Any help is greatly appreciated.
