I'll try to keep this short and sweet, but I'm wanting to get into a new field of work. I've been working in retail/food service roles and have been a manager in each, so I keep moving up. I just want to get something that has a more stable schedule and where I can actually feel like I'm not on call all the time.
I'm a little worried though because a lot of jobs, including entry-level, have degree or experience requirements that I don't quite have exactly so I get a little discouraged.
I have skills like cash handling, reconciliations, bank deposits, inventory management, leading a team, and other similar skills one gains from management in these fields.
What's the best way to swing these in my favor in order to not be stuck in retail forever? lol
