My employment agency listed my job title incorrectly on the employee agreement and other formal docs. Can I put it on my resume?

After some digging into onboarding docs today, I found my employment agency has me listed in a much more lucrative position in a different department of my company, while the client company itself has my job duties restricted to mid-level project management (which is what I was hired for). I’m not sure why this discrepancy exists and I can’t say I really care. If I did a little research into the job title I supposedly “have” and listed it on my resume, would there be any repercussions to this? Do I have the right to do this, as it seems to technically be my job title (albeit incorrect)?
