My spouse is currently seeking a new position as he was told his team is being eliminated this summer at his current position. He is a mobile software engineer. I am helping him with his resume, and I was wondering if we should put an explanation for a gap he has, due to the fact the job before gap was only 7 months. His history looks like this:
Job A: October 2014-May 2015 (left due to low wage)
Job B: May 2015-August 2016 (changed job to move closer to family)
Job C: August 2016-March 2017 (Left to come to USA to marry me USA Citizen)
Break: March 2017-February 2018: Not able to work for a few months and then worked unrelated job for 6 months we leave off resume
Job D: February 2018-December 2018 (Left for what was suppose to be better opportunity)
Job E: December 2018-July 2019? (downsizing)
Obviously, he has some short term jobs on his resume, one for coming to the USA and the the other due to no fault of his own due to downsizing. Should be put in a explanation for the 1 year gap in employment/why he left Job C after only 7 months?
