Hey all. I’ve been unemployed for 4 months and getting unemployment and temp jobs to keep going. I recently got an offer at a really cool startup in my field (creative writing) but the salary is super low. I tried to negotiate and they said that’s all they can offer right now, with a pay review in 6 months. I am genuinely excited about the role, but the pay is the least I’ve made since graduating college 9 years ago. It’s workable and I won’t be starving, but it’s not ideal by any means, yet I am pretty over being unemployed. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
