hello everyone, i am new to this subreddit so i am gonna tell you a little about myself and what is happening in regards to my job hunt.
i graduated undergrad with a bachelors in creative writing. it wasnt something i WANTED to major in but more of what actually held my interest back in college. until a few months back i didn’t even know what i wanted to do for my career. as of may 25 2017 i have been working at panda express, which is a horrible job.
a few months back i decided i want to pursue a career in recruiting/human resources or as as admissions counselor. during college i worked as an admissions ambassador and resident adviser.
now i know this is pretty weak of me to ask but right now i am...pathless. ive applied to several jobs including receptionist, admin assistant, recruiting assistant, and hr assistant. most of which ive never heard back and some i had interviewed, but was never picked.
a part of me wants to go back to school and another wants to keep on searching. right now i just want to get out of panda express (which was supposed to be a temp job until i found a permanent career). i have applied to entry level sales, hoping it can help me build experience so i can apply to recruiting positions in the future. yet still i feel stressed out only because i am directionless at the moment and i want to find a satisfying job that i can say i am proud to work in.
