With every job I've had so far, I've found that the work is manageable and doable (even fun), but the interpersonal relationships are difficult for me. I operate on a high level of social anxiety and it's hard for me to relax and be more calm and myself around people in an office setting. Would anyone happen to have some tips on how to go about the day-to-day in an office while dealing with (debilitating) anxiety issues? I try my best to be friendly, but people seem to see right through me every time and my anxiety often gets misinterpreted as aloofness.
Thank you in advance.
Edit: I should also add that while I really would love to go to therapy, I unfortunately don't think I can afford it right now.
