How screwed am I? Background investigation

Hey guys,

I am a recent graduate from university with minimal experience. So after searching for a few months, I finally landed a job offer. The offer is contingent upon "Verification of the data contained in your employment application through background investigation". The background investigation is through a 3rd party group.

I have great credit, no criminal history, no DUIs, no misdemeanors, or anything else that would raise a red flag.

On my resume I put down my job history accurately. One was an internship last summer, and the other was a part time minimum wage job I held from September 2016 to March 2019 while going to university. However, my issue is that in March, I was fired from my part time job due to a small issue. It was my first issue I had at the company, and was terminated for it. My focus was always on school, and the part time job was just to make some income.

My concern is that the background screening company may call my old employers and inquire about me. The company is very small, and I don't think it has an HR. So my concern is that they may call the company and someone not trained in HR will tell them I was fired. The dates, title, and responsibilities I provided on my resume are accurate. I just don't want my new employer to see the termination and immediately rescind their offer. Is there anything I can do about this?
