Hi,
I had an interview today for a non-profit. This was a second interview and it was 50 minutes away. I spent an hour making a schedule for one day of their activities. They are calling the work I did "volunteer or work interview" to legally justify it. Rather it was there intent to get free work from me is another story and they understood me leaving to get things done was good.
Then the next hour and half I spent helping them out with kids acting out and talking to the kids. She wanted me to then spend a an hour or more helping out with their activities, but she asked if I had a timeline and I said yes I need to leave at 3:30. I left to get food and just rest. They will be using the schedule I made and at the least I believe I got the job, but man it kind of rubbed me the wrong way they got free work off me.
Anyone else have this experience?
Thank you,
David
