Best careers to get without a college degree?

I am looking to start working in a career (not related to food or retail) that doesn't require me to have any sort of college degree since I can't afford to go back to school. I already have been to tech school and graduated with an Electrician technical diploma. But for some reason in recent years in my area they have completely stopped hiring electricians that don't have 5 years of experience or have a Journeyman license.

So what careers are good for starting from entry level? I'm open to trying anything as long as it pays the bills.

EDIT: I am open to moving so regional jobs and such are open to me too!
