I did a major resume re-write, can I apply for different positions at a company I've recently applied to.

Pretty much the title. I've been applying for jobs without getting any calls. I figured my resume wasn't working. So I read up on resume writing a bit more, and put more thought an effort into a current resume draft.

Can I apply for a different position at a company that has rejected me in the past? Is there a timeframe for how long they keep resumes on file? Is it a red flag to have two resumes in their systems? In my previous resume I did a terrible job explaining my roles and experience.

Can I use a different email address to create a "new applicant"? Or will that be a bigger red flag if someone recognizes the name?
