Great interview, but no call back yet

Hey guys, so I interviewed for an internship position about 3 weeks ago. Interview went really well, very conversational. At the end, he discussed with me where he sees me being placed, went over the handbook, procedures etc. When I left we did the traditional handshake and "We'll be in touch". However, it has been 3 weeks since the interview and i have not yet heard back. I also sent a follow up email last week with no reply. Am I overthinking this, or are they ghosting me?

TL;DR I had a great interview, even went over intern handbook with me and discussed possible placement, but that was 3 weeks ago and still have no word yet. Are they ghosting me or am I overthinking?
