Going out of the country in the middle of an interview process - should I be worried?

Happy weekend everyone. I was trying to dig through the internet on any similar experiences but all that's returned is negotiating a vacation that's a ways away during the offer/acceptance stage.

Just like the title says, I'm going out of the country while in the middle of an interview process. It's almost like a series of unfortunate events - I was done with an onsite interview and was asked for additional availabilities for a final round of interviews. When I sent over my availabilities, it was revealed to me that the hiring manager would be on vacation until early next week, and the day the hiring manger gets back is when I leave for my own vacation for 10 days (8 business days). I did reveal my vacation plans with the hr manager before I left the onsite interview and reminded her of it again when I sent over my availabilities. Am I a little crazy in thinking that they will continue to interview other candidates while I'm out of the country and they'll likely pass me for another candidate? I was super close to canceling my vacation plans to interview with them. I have no income because I was laid off... So I guess I'm a little bit more desperate.

The good news is that everyone has been super responsive and positive - after I sent them thank-you notes, my constant updates around my schedule and availabilities, etc - the people that met with me, especially the hiring manager, made it clear that they would love to have me on board.

Thanks Reddit!
