Hello! After a long career in a very specific industry, I just considered making a change. To my surprise, I found the ideal job opening during my first searching session. I immediately made a resume and sent in my application. To my surprise, I was contacted by a recruiter, brought in for an interview, and was given an offer that I accepted.
The company's HR department informed me of their background check and employment verification process. On my resume, I did not include specific start and end dates with months and days, I just included years. I wrote on my resume that I was with a company from 2010-2011, as when I hastily created the resume, I believed I was with the company from July 2010 to January 2011. After looking up my personal records, I realized that I was with the company from June 2010 to November 2010.
Do you think this will be a serious issue that could jeopardize my offer?
