I start a job Monday doing data entry for a government contractor. I had to undergo an extensive background and credit check for this job because it’s a secret clearance. I already passed the clearance. I had to wait over a month to start working and I’ve got behind on some bills. I’m 2 months behind on 2 separate loan places, a month behind on my credit cards (3) , 3 months behind on satellite, and behind on my property taxes. I called the loan places today and explained to them I wouldn’t b able to pay anything until the 12th (when I get paid) but they just kept saying they were going to send it to an attorney. I’m afraid this will make me lose my job. Also I don’t have many nice clothes and only a couple pair of nice pants and 3 nice shirts. They are old though. I just feel like the weight of the world is on me, but I want this job. It’s the best job I’ve ever had. Can anyone give me some advice?
