I found some very intriguing job postings yesterday, but I'm trying to decide which to apply to and I could use some input from you guys. The business is starting up a new office in my field so they're hiring for multiple positions in the field at once, including a senior and junior version of the jobs I'm looking for. I'm sure I'm qualified for the junior version, and I could probably pull off the senior version but I'm not sure I'm quite what they're looking for, I don't have experience in the particular method they want to use, though my current work is similar to it.
The same hiring manager is almost certainly reading all the applications for both, so I feel like applying for both would come off weird. The senior job pays better and is longer term, but if it turns out the method qualification is a hard requirement maybe I've blown my shot. But I'd also rather have the senior job, especially since the junior one is only a one year contract, and I don't want to sell myself short. What do you think I should do?
