I'm driving myself crazy waiting to hear if I passed the background check. I have received a job offer at a law firm but this is dependent on background checks. I worked at McDonald's for 4 years whilst I was at university and took unpaid leave quite often whilst I was studying, but I said I was a crew trainer instead of a crew member!
Now this isn't a complete lie as my manager would always ask me to train new people as I was long standing member of staff, however I wasn't able to have the formal title/ pay of a crew trainer due to always being back and forth to university. A crew member basically does the exact same things as a crew trainer but the only difference is they train new staff which is what I did, so I felt this title accurately described what I did.
Do I risk failing my employee background check because of this and losing the job offer?
