I had interviewed an area manager position last week. Had to prepare a case study and felt the interview went really well. They said that they would make a decision around the 1st week of April at the earliest.
Got an email this morning from them asking if I would also like to interview for an analyst position they have available. I would need to prepare another case study. I said that I would be glad to interview for this position as well and we set the interview date for next week. Looking at this case study, it’s more challenging than the other one, so I’m glad I have the extra time.
Now I’m all driving myself nuts. It seems like they like me, but does that mean that they don’t think I’m a good fit for the manager job? It’s not like the analyst position is a step down by any stretch... but what if I fail this interview...am I out on both fronts?
