Trying to help my 56-year-old father find work.

My father just recently got laid off from his groundskeeping job at a golf course.
He has increasingly bad health problems in his back and feet so he can't stand for too long, but probably doesn't qualify for disability. He has an increasingly unreliable vehicle and is not great with computers. Highest level of education is GED.

I'm looking for any and all advice on what kind of work he might be able to do, specific positions for people in similar situations, or if anyone could point us in a direction that would help him find a service or helpful information. He is a normal man who is struggling pretty hard right now and it's heartbreaking to watch.
