I graduated school in early December and started in my current role later that month. The role is in asset management, but more of a client relationship role and not an investment role.
I have an interview next week for a firm in a different city that I applied for months ago and only now heard back. They have my previous resume which doesn't include my current role.
When I interview, should I tell them i'm currently employed? Would this look bad that I'm looking to leave already? I enjoy my current job but this new role is a substantially better job doing Equity Research.
Any tips on how to handle this?
