I am currently employed full time with an ok salary, however recent events have made growth at this company limited.
This is when I started applying for other job and I was approached by a fairly well known recruiter about a position and I went through the phone interview, references, and resume stuff.
The problem was that I was under the assumption that this position was a full time direct hire, but it turned out to be a 12 month contract to hire. I am a little upset that both level of recruiters I talked to fail to explicitly state that this was a contract to hire position. To make matters worst I initially could not find this job posting anywhere online for a week. Then suddenly on Monday the job posting appeared on their website and that is when I found out this position was contract-to-hire.
And again this is a 12 month contract to hire which seem much longer than any other similar job postings I have found online.
But at the end of the day it is my fault for not asking the right questions about the position.
