So I just got back from a very interesting job interview, I filled out the paperwork for the background check they handed me the drug screen info and said if I wanted the job to go get the drug screen and they will be in touch. This is for a manufacturing job something that I don't necessarily want to do ( and outside of what i went to school for I am a print major) and I would be taking a pay cut for the first 90 days, 12.75 an hour after 90 days its 13.66 ( I made 13 at my last job)
I have a few other applications out there and am still applying but finances are getting tight. this is for a metal punch press position I have never worked in manufacturing before, my last job was in Pre Press (desk job) I don't mind working on press I did that all through college, they are currently working 6 - 7 days a week, I am worried I am going to kill myself but at the same time money is getting tight (probably have til April, I am constantly selling things online), what do I do, I am thinking about giving applications out for another week or so but I don't want this company to suddenly decide they don't want me but their turnover rate seems high in fact that is what the HR person said to me when I asked why they were working 6-7 days a week
