So I’m a 19 year old male and I am applying for jobs. During high school, I dropped out in my junior year due to family issues, including criminal activity and such. I have since bettered myself, but that is not the point. I attended college instead of going to my senior year of high school, and am currently enrolled in classes. Will a background check show that I never graduated high school? I have my proof of enrollment from my community college and have been a student for the past year. Is this a good idea? 1) lie and say that I was homeschooled my senior year, and point to my college enrollment as proof that I am at least as smart as a high school graduate. Can a background check verify homeschooling?
