Leaving the Food Industry

What tips are there to transition out of the food service industry to start earning a higher wage for my family? I’m currently married with no kids managing a coffee shop, but it’s not what I want to do forever and my wife and I both want to earn a good enough income in Seattle to raise a family in the coming years. I have a degree in religion and am working on a MA as well but I want to start looking elsewhere for employment. What are my options?
