I’m 17 and currently in high school. I’ve been employed at a place for about a year and a half, and I planned on leaving and picking work back up in the summer. I don’t enjoy my job, the people around me, and the work environment generally and wanted to just quit on the spot. The management wouldn’t really care, most likely, and they’d be able to replace me easily. The only thing really holding me back is a job reference since I’ve been there a decent amount of time. Will a minimum wage job references even do that much for you when applying to another minimum wage job or is it worth sticking out the two weeks?
EDIT: I’m living with my parents, and I’m not in dire need of money. Along with the work conditions being poor, another reason for me quitting would be because of schoolwork and spring clubs, etc
