So i found out that the other candidate got the full-time position, and I was offered to work on a contract/project basis. I accepted the offer with hopes that it may lead to full-time employment down the road (plus I like the company and work).
But are there any red flags I need to be aware of, to ensure that i'm not being taken advantage of as a contract worker vs. a full-time employee? When it comes to compensation, what should I be aware of? I've never worked on contract before.
