Currently unemployed should I wait to see if I get an interview for places I applied to or go to temp agency?
So I applied to a job I really want in the town I want to move to. I'm pretty qualified for it and expect to get the position. But in the case I don't should I go ahead and apply to a temp agency? I live in a small rural retirement town so there's always factory jobs available and I could probably start Monday if I went to the temp agency tomorrow. My biggest fear is having to quit a new job a few days in if I get a better offer.
Obviously if I get the offer I'll quit regardless since a factory job around here starts at $10.75/h and the job I'm applying to is $20/h. I'm just afraid of "burning bridges" with one of the only temp agencies here.
