In a post on here about good questions to ask at the end of an interview, one person said that you should ask for a tour at the end of the interview to get to know the place and because it shows you have a serious interest.
In theory this is something I would want to do in every interview, to get a feel for the job, but I’m not sure if it is rude to ask. Like someone inviting themselves over to you house. Is it too intrusive and too assuming? I’d love to hear y’all’s opinions especially those who conduct interviews. I have an interview tomorrow for my dream job and I’m thinking about asking this, BUT I don’t want it to blow the interview.
Edit: I’m a scientist. My industry is environmental.
