Anybody quit during a paid training for a job? What happened afterwards?

Havn't applied to those kinds of jobs yet, seen a few though (insurance, construction staff admin, call centers). Just wondering what happens if you decide it's not right for you and you decide to quit.

I read for some tech positions, they make you pay for the "training" they provided (albeit "training" would just be some books and youtube videos).

I'm pretty broke at the moment and am afraid that if I decide to apply for some jobs that required paid training, and then quit, then I'll be on the hook.
